These clients had just built a new home on Whidbey Island. No other landscaping had been installed. We discussed decorating ideas for a patio and ultimately installed seventeen planters between the upper and lower decks. This included live plants for the office upstairs as well as live plants in the master bathroom. This design won the Distinction Award in 2004 from the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals, the professional organization for landscape contractors in Washington State and related Washington landscaping businesses. These deck flower planters have a mixture of evergreen shrubs, grasses and perennials with room for annual color additions. | |||||||
